Wholesale specialist joins Shawbrook team to support growth
Shawbrook Bank, the UK’s SME specialist lender, has expanded its structured finance division with the recruitment of a director within its wholesale finance team, to meet the demand for bespoke solutions in the speciality funding industry.
Abhishek Girdhar’s role will focus on the origination, structuring and execution of debt transactions for alternative finance clients in core sectors, including consumer, SME, property, and fund finance.
Bringing with him 14 years’ experience in financial services, Abhishek has held senior roles within securitisation, specialist lending and investment teams and worked with fund managers, consumer and SME lenders, IFAs, brokers, as well as film studios and Premier League clubs looking for player transfer funding.
