Time Finance named amongst Best Companies to Work For in 2025
Independent SME lender, Time Finance, has been recognised as one of the UK’s best companies to work for, with the business achieving the status of ‘Very Good Organisation’ in a recent review and analysis from Best Companies.
Achieving this recognition, Time Finance joins a select group of businesses to receive the honour, which is awarded only to companies that foster a positive and supportive culture, making workplace engagement a priority.
The accreditation follows a three-year internal strategy, which has seen Time Finance invest in its people, culture and workplace, alongside steady and sustainable growth of its financial products and services.
Forming part of this strategy, the business recruited a new HR manager, Laura Dun, who has been responsible for creating a workplace culture that supports the individuals within it, while also spearheading people-led strategies to inspire collaboration, creativity and innovation.
Speaking of this achievement, Ed Rimmer, chief executive officer, said: “This recognition speaks to the dedication and commitment of our employees, who bring their best every day. It’s the expertise, enthusiasm and passion within our teams that help us drive Time Finance forward, and allow us to thrive in supporting SMEs with business finance. Alongside this, as a business, a collaborative and inclusive environment is something that we strive for, and we’re very pleased to see our internal efforts have paid off in a meaningful way.”
At Time Finance, employees are encouraged to thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment. The business offers various professional development and training opportunities including industry accreditation with UK Finance and the Finance & Leasing Association. The business offers a range of company benefits, including an Employee Assistance Programme, private medical insurance and holiday exchange scheme, all of which maintains a culture rooted in innovation, respect and collaboration.
“Receiveing this recognition is an incredible milestone for the business”, said Laura. “We continually invest in making Time Finance a place where people feel respected, supported and encouraged to succeed, and this recognition is testament to those efforts.”
Encompassing the business’s three-year growth strategy, Time Finance introduced and implemented a set of company values. These values ranged from putting people first to being flexible, bold and genuine, and have been implemented throughout its operations underpinned the recent accreditation from Best Companies.
