Senior Field Examiner – Asset Based Lending

A subsidiary of a Global Banking Group and leading provider of Asset Based Lending facilities in the UK seeks a Senior Field Examiner to join their dedicated Transaction Support team.
You will be responsible for conducting new business surveys and performing complex due diligence on new and existing clients to assess their financial security and identify potential areas of risk.
All clients have borrowing facilities with the Bank which are Invoice Discounting, Syndicated and/or Asset Based Lending. Facility sizes will generally be in excess of £25 Million.
You will work in close partnership with the Relationship Management team and other areas of Portfolio Risk to minimise bad debt provisions through the detailed understanding of credit stewardship principles and the early identification of risk within the Corporate space.
Auditsare conducted at the clients’ premises and will involve the full analysis of complex management accounts. There will therefore be the requirement for significant travel with the role and a full driving license is essential.
Previous experience in a large ticket Audit/Survey role would be advantageous as is knowledge of Business Lending, Corporate Banking and/or Business Finance. Experience of ABL and syndicated facilities is preferred whilst a high level of accounting experience and expert financial analysis skills are essential – therefore ACA/ACCA, CIMA or part qualified accountants are desirable.
