Potential for major new industrial scheme following land deal in Peterborough
The site, which is set across 127 gross acres (51.39 hectares) of land, is allocated for employment use and is set to receive outline consent to provide a range of industrial units ranging in size from 25,000 (2,322 sq m) up to 500,000 sq ft (46,451 sq m). Savills has been retained as letting agents, along with Bidwells.
Delivered in a number of phases, work on the first 25 acres (10 hectares) will commence in 2020.
William Rose, director in the business space team at Savills Peterborough, comments: “Supply of good quality industrial stock has been constrained for a number of years now, so this is very good news for the region. The scheme will deliver a range of mid-size units to meet local occupier demand, but also has the potential to bring forward a major, national industrial or distribution facility.
