Nat Baldwin joins Hilco Valuation Services Europe as director of intellectual property services
Hilco Valuation Services, LLC announced today the appointment of Nat Baldwin as director of Intellectual Property Services Europe. Natt Baldwin will assume business development responsibility for the United Kingdom and European intellectual property appraisal and disposal practice at Hilco Valuation Services, assisting clients in identifying, preserving, and extracting value from these key assets within corporate transactions. Natt Baldwin brings more than 10 years of transaction experience to the Hilco team and will leverage his expertise to assist key stakeholders, including directors, professional advisors and lenders, when assessing IP value.

Prior to joining Hilco, Nat Baldwin had worked on appraising and disposing of IP assets in a number of high profile cases, including, but not limited to: bank fashion, Secure Electrans, WeeWorld, Internacionale, John Letters Golf, Money Republic, Rosemary Conley Food & Fitness, Burdens Group, Sangs/MacB, Land of Leather and MFI. His expertise is in monetizing a wide spectrum of IP asset types, including trademarks and trade dress, patents, copyrights, licensing agreements, trade secrets, customer lists, domain names and web content, and databases/libraries.
Nat gained his law degree from Edinburgh University before completing a legal diploma and qualifying as a lawyer at an international law firm. His interest in intellectual property started at an early age when he invented an eco-friendly “frog-bin” that went into mass production. He enjoys travel and spent a year working in Cuba teaching English at the University of Matanzas.
