Mazars, the international audit, tax and advisory firm, has appointed Rachael Hart to the newly created position of forensic investigations and compliance partner in the Financial Advisory team.
In her new role, Rachael will be responsible for growing and developing Mazars’ forensic investigation and compliance strategy and will be part of the Financial Advisory team offering an integrated and technology-driven service of disputes and investigations. She brings with her a wealth of experience in risk consulting, fraud and financial crime as well as technology development and operational management, all of which will be important in expanding Mazars’ propositions for financial services clients.
Rachael is a passionate champion for women in leadership roles and will play a crucial part in mentoring and developing her team, as well as fostering a positive and healthy work/life balance.
James Gilbey, head of financial advisory services at Mazars, said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Rachael into the partnership. Her expertise is highly complementary to our practice and she will help deepen our capabilities in the investigations and compliance space which is subject to considerable regulatory scrutiny. She already has extensive experience in the sector and will be important in continuing the great work we already do at Mazars”
