Hospitality sale software specialist Power EPOS secures £325,000 of growth funding
ThinCats has provided Power EPOS, the point-of-sale software solutions specialist for the hospitality sector with £325,000 of growth funding. The funding will be used to continue to expand the business’s market share and increase competitiveness.
Based in Liverpool, Power EPOS was established in 2012. Power EPOS was set up to capitalise on the synergetic relationship between cloud computing and modern technology to provide innovative reporting software and reliable hardware to the hospitality sector.
Due to its high growth profile and complex corporate structure, Power EPOS realised they needed specialist advice, so approached corporate finance advisers Commercial Loans & Finance Ltd.
After a competitive process, ThinCats was introduced to the management teams at Power EPOS by Commercial Loans & Finance Ltd, who liaised with ThinCats regional business development director, Andrew Tapsell. ThinCats worked closely with the team and its advisers to gain a close understanding of the business and to provide the funding for the deal.
Gary Smith, CEO of Power EPOS: “The hospitality industry moves quickly, and so it was important for us to secure our growth funding quickly and painlessly. The amount of time Andrew spent with us getting to really know the business and to clarify points was very useful. It was rewarding to have ThinCats understand what we want to do with the business in terms of growth and have complete faith that we will be able to meet our goals.”
Andrew Tapsell said: “Having seen the quality of its product and service offering, I knew Power EPOS is exactly the sort of SME that ThinCats loves to support. Power EPOS is a great example of a regional business with a strong growth trajectory. We look forward to becoming a long-term partner and watching this business continue to flourish.”
