Goodman Group targets South West in nationwide expansion plans
Leading corporate finance provider Goodman Corporate Finance is opening a new office in Plymouth to focus on serving small to medium-sized enterprises across the South West region.
The specialist broker, which offers a range of bespoke corporate finance solutions, real estate and business advisory services, is expanding from its East Midlands base, with the aim of increasing its presence across the country.
Its new arm will be led by sales director Stefan Radymski, also recently appointed as a Goodman Corporate Finance board member. Prior to joining Goodman Corporate Finance in 2017, Stefan had 15 years’ experience in the banking and finance industry, including five years with Aldermore Bank PLC in roles including head of business development.
He has a strong background in working with SMEs and larger corporates, and while at Goodman he has built relationships between clients, professional advisors and lenders across the midlands.
Focusing on digital advances and building a nationwide presence
In addition to working with businesses across the South West, Stefan’s new role on the Goodman board will see him develop new channels of business by embracing digital advances in the commercial finance sector.

A vibrant and upcoming area
Stefan says that the move to the south west is ideal as he is returning home, having grown up in Dartmouth. “I am really looking forward to working with the local community,” he said.
“Our new office will be based in Sutton Harbour, Plymouth. This central location will be ideal for linking with companies from all sectors across the region, including manufacturing, engineering, farming and marine specialists.
“The South West region is a vibrant and upcoming area with a healthy and growing economy and property market. With Goodman’s panel of more than 200 lenders from across the whole of market, I’m excited to be able to offer local companies an unrivalled range of finance options and find exactly the right solutions for individual customers.”
Stefan will also be working closely with and building local networks of professional advisors, from accountants and solicitors to real estate agents and architects to help Goodman’s clients access the expertise they need to improve their sustainability with more than just funding.
