FOLK2FOLK strengthens broker focus with appointment of Aaron Hamshire
FOLK2FOLK, the UK’s leading peer-to-peer lending platform, has announced the appointment of Aaron Hamshire as relationship manager.
Based in Cornwall, Aaron joins FOLK2FOLK’s established business development team, focusing on nurturing and expanding broker relationships across the UK.
Since its launch in 2013, FOLK2FOLK has connected hundreds of local businesses with investors, providing business loans from £100,000 to help SMEs start, grow and diversify in every region of the UK. Investors meanwhile enjoy a fixed monthly income and the security of property-backed investments delivering attractive returns – currently from 8.75% per annum.
Aaron brings with him over 15 years’ experience in business development and relationship management, having held roles at leading financial institutions. Prior to joining FOLK2FOLK, Aaron spent five years as a relationship manager at Lloyds Bank, supporting businesses in achieving their growth ambitions. He also served as business manager at SWIG Finance, focusing on providing tailored funding solutions for SMEs, and spent nearly a decade at Barclays, where he worked closely with business clients to facilitate growth, provide international trade solutions, and enable property acquisitions.
This extensive funding background makes him well-equipped to understand the needs of business borrowers and to play a key role in further strengthening FOLK2FOLK’s excellent broker and introducer relationships.
