Finance book unlocks key to growth for solopreneurs
Experienced commercial finance director and business owner Andi Lonnen has published her first business book, Be Fabulous at Finance.
Aimed at solopreneurs and one-man brands, it demystifies business finance in an easily digestible format.
Ms Lonnen, who runs her own financial training company ALBA, said: “With 80 per cent of businesses failing in their first 18 months, many due to poor cash flow, good finance means the difference between surviving and thriving. My book contains the most important elements to empower small businesses to make sound decisions that will not only sustain their businesses, but boost their growth. Crucially, this means better cash flow including getting money in from even their slowest paying customers, planning for growth and improving profitability – a formula for success.”
A regular speaker at high-profile conferences and continually delivering training around the UK, Ms Lonnen is very well placed to advise. The book is based on questions she has most frequently been asked during these occasions.
Ms Lonnen, a fully qualified FCCA accountant, set up ALBA just over 18 months ago in January 2013. Dedicated to improving the financial business skills and acumen of ambitious business owners, she now has a roll-call of happy clients including the NHS.
Active in her local Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, she has chaired their Business Leaders Forum, Yorkshire Women’s Network and currently sits on the organisation’s nationwide Corporate Sector Network panel.
