Experienced retailer acquires Corking Wines through Christie Finance
Commercial finance specialist, Christie Finance has supported an experienced retailer, Mr Nanthakumar Anton Ananthamathan, to purchase Corking Wines, a highly regarded convenience store based in a suburban area of North Yorkshire.
Corking Wines, a well-fitted licensed convenience store, prominently sits in a desirable area one mile northwest of York.
The store has served its local community since 2003, offering everyday essentials and a wealth of other products and services. It has since built up a large and loyal customer base, and with the current owners retiring from their positions, it presents an excellent opportunity for Nanthakumar to take the reins.
Mr Ananthamathan is an experienced retailer who began working in the sector 12 years ago in a convenience store in London. Nanthakumar has plenty of experience working within the retail industry. He has an in depth understanding of how to run a retail business and a proven track record of performing well in highly pressurised environments.
Nanthakumar decided to purchase Corking Wines due to its prominent location and the high level of footfall it receives.
