“We are very pleased to have found an experienced hotelier in Mr. Imlauer, who knows the Austrian hotel market and appreciates the 1000-years history of the castle as well as its unique location,” Lukas Hochedlinger, managing director at Christie & Co, who accompanied the sales process with his team sums up. “The leisure segment has been hit less hard by the coronavirus pandemic than city hotels, making this a logical step for Mr. Imlauer. He’s is expanding his hotel portfolio and thus showing diversity in the crisis,” Hochedlinger is convinced.
