Azets bolsters R&I practice with two heavyweight hires
Azets announces the arrival of two heavyweight hires within its restructuring and insolvency (R&I) practice in a move which bolsters the firm’s specialist offering across the UK.
Andy Davis has been appointed strategic advice director, who joins alongside Rob Young as R&I director. Both add significant experience to the UK Top 10 firm.
The appointments signify Azets’ commitment to supporting mid-market businesses through challenging economic times, with rising prices and tighter financial conditions impacting companies’ ability to service debt.

Andy Davis has spent the past 28 years in various senior roles with Lloyds Banking Group, where most recently he led the Large Corporate Business Support Unit.
Andy is a highly experienced restructuring practitioner, with a reputation for senior level engagement, resolving commercial and distressed situations and delivering outstanding results.
Rob Young joins Azets from RSM, where he has spent the past 15 years as restructuring and recovery director. Rob’s principal focus is the provision of restructuring advice to mid-market businesses
Rob has broad sector experience and has managed several insolvency assignments including projects relating to large, complex, and multi-banked corporates.
