AI Readiness Report: UK ranks among leading countries
AI contributed almost £4bn to the UK economy in 2023, but questions are still being raised over the country’s preparedness for integration of the tools into the workforce.
While fears around the burgeoning tech may be mounting, so is implementation: but which country will win the race to fully embrace artificial intelligence?
Key Findings:
Switzerland’s population is the best educated for AI utilisation, with almost 3 in 20 workers occupied in a STEM role.
The index study highlights that Singapore has invested the most in AI in the past 5 years per thousand GPD at $15.01.
The United States’ internet servers are the most reliable for workforces looking to strengthen fluency with AI tools.

Christoph C. Cemper, on behalf of AIPRM, suggests what individuals and businesses can do now to prepare for AI integration:
“It’s up to everyone individually to learn and educate themselves about AI by just using it, even for a temporary phase, for parts of their (work) life. Learning by “doing AI” is the most approachable, realistic way for everyone on the planet to discover and explore the limits and capabilities of AI, today and totally free.
“By just downloading the AIPRM extension for free and using it with an also free ChatGPT account, everyone can try and use over 4500 different tasks using pre-written AI instructions (prompts). To do that, also no deeper knowledge required, due to all these free and prepared AI instructions available instantly.
“Understanding the “magic” of AI in such simple ways is the best way to start to “learn AI”, and take it from there.”
