Representing their first step into the UK hospitality market, the acquisition underscores the buyer’s commitment to expanding internationally, with plans to build a portfolio of UK properties. The sale was facilitated by Colliers’ Hotels Agency team.
Originally an 18th century farmhouse, the hotel sits on a picturesque six-acre freehold site and features 37 en-suite bedrooms. It seamlessly blends historic charm with modern amenities, including a 50-cover restaurant, a bar, a 120-capacity semi-permanent marquee, and four conference and meeting rooms.
Conveniently located just 11 miles from the National Exhibition Centre and Birmingham International Airport, and close to Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, and the M42, the property is perfectly positioned to cater to corporate, leisure, and events markets.
The buyer expressed a strong interest in expanding their UK asset base, leveraging opportunities in collaboration with Colliers.
