United Trust Bank expands mortgage key accounts team
United Trust Bank has restructured its mortgages key accounts team as it targets further growth in 2019.
Jigar Patel has been promoted to the role of ‘head of key accounts – mortgages’ nationally whilst Chris Pedlar has moved from his BDM role to that of ‘key accounts manager’. The move aims to provide greater support to key mortgage introducers as the Bank continues to develop its product range and distribution strategy.
Throughout 2018 United Trust Bank grew its mortgages and bridging sales team with a number of high profile hires. Mike Walters as ‘head of sales’ leads the combined sales team, working closely with ‘commercial director – mortgages’, Buster Tolfree and ‘commercial director – bridging’, Gavin Diamond to ensure that brokers receive the tailored support they need.
This continued investment in developing the sales and key accounts function geographically underlines the importance UTB places on providing first class support to brokers and introducers across England, Wales and Scotland and the commitment to helping brokers develop both their mortgage and bridging business.
Buster Tolfree, commercial director – mortgages commented:
“We have established a strong track record as an innovative, introducer-first lender focused on building long term, meaningful relationships with our broker partners”
“We have exciting plans for 2019 and these enhancements to the mortgages key accounts team, gives us an excellent platform to deliver truly value-add activities to our strategic partners. We have assembled a team of high calibre professionals who together will drive the next stage of the bank’s evolution as a specialist mortgage lender”.
